Malpas Parish Council Integration Day

My name is Amanda Parry, I am a Wellbeing Coordinator working within the Rural Alliance. I cover Tattenhall, Farndon and Malpas G.P Surgeries.

Part of my role is raising awareness of the service and types of support that can be accessed from the Wellbeing Service via the G.P practice.

On Saturday July 24th 2021, I attended the Malpas Parish Council Integration Day at the Malpas & District Sports Club in Malpas. The event was supported by volunteers and staff from Malpas community links.

The event was an opportunity for all members of the community to see what Malpas has to offer. The support and information on offer helped people to gain an understanding of services available locally how they can access the support and help that they may need or require.

Throughout the day I engaged with a lot of individuals and informed them of the support available from the Wellbeing Service, including the referral pathway of how to access the support and guidance that they may need.

Having a presence at the event gave me a great opportunity to meet face to face with individuals from the local community.
