Be the health care provider of preference and choice for both patients and clinicians, which re-invests profits back into primary care.”

Social Prescribing Day - Rural Alliance

Amanda Parry, Wellbeing Coordinator, who works within the Rural Alliance has been out and about rural Cheshire spreading the word about social prescribing and raising awareness of the Wellbeing Service which she delivers via rural G.P practices. Within Amanda’s role she can support you with non-medical needs or issues that you may have and help them to explore extra services that can support you to improve your wellbeing. The service helps you to improve your health and wellbeing and make positive life changes.

Today Amanda joined another Social Prescribing service within Cheshire to promote their support service. Amanda attended a drop-in session yesterday afternoon with Healthbox in St Albans Church Hall, Tattenhall, here she was able to chat and give people information about accessing a social prescribing service with their area.
